Sunburst Series Finale

It has taken a little over a month and a whole lot of work to get to this point but I have to say, I couldn’t be happier with the results.

This journey began with a simple concept and a single component.

The concept was to come up with a pretty design element using Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2019 ~ Living Coral

I provided all of the instructions for the Large Component in a 3 part Series here on The Alluring Bead Boutique.

Then I added the full companion video tutorials to my design channel on YouTube and added them to the posts.

The Sunburst Pendant Pattern is a more advanced project.

This pattern teaches a double hoop technique of Brick Stitch on a Frame.

I produced a gorgeous and intricate pattern and added it to the shop.

Afterall, a girl has to make a little money to keep the wolves from the door.

Next came the Sunburst Pearl Components.

In this lesson, we used a new Brick Stitch on a Bead technique to add the same palette of colors to a beautiful Swarovski Pearls.

Brick Stitch on a Bead ~ Small Sunburst Component

Finally, I published the Sunburst Necklace Component – Peyote Bezel for Coin Shell Bead.

But as luck would have it, I decided to make a few changes to the design  and all the instructions for the final version are available in the Peyote Bezel – Small Sunburst Component post.

The Sunburst Necklace Instructions PDF includes step by step HD photos and written instructions.

In the Construction of the Necklace, I used two Modified Flat Herringbone Stitch Techniques to connect the components and to create the uniquely beautiful bands for the piece.

I added Gunmetal findings for the closure but you can easily change those to suit your preference.

The bands are added separately and can be adjusted to add any amount of additional length to your own necklace.

I really love the overall look of the finished necklace. It gives the impression of Bead Embroidery without all the extra materials and work.

Thank you for following along with me on this project.
