Welcome to a new series...

A few weeks ago, in my newsletter, I shared my new Goals and Plans for the business this year.

One of those new goals is to learn to draw jewelry.

This short term goal, correlates to my long term business plan of becoming a professional level jewelry designer.

I have so many ideas and dreams of designs in my head but haven’t had much luck translating those ideas into workable designs.

I have done some research, like I always do, before deciding on an affordable and feasible plan of action.

Over the next few weeks, I will be posting a few videos and articles related to the information I have found and the tools I have chosen to get started in the real world of jewelry design.

  • Design Board
  • Rules and Guides
  • Templates
  • Drawing Mediums

This intro series will pave the way for a brand new approach to the blog this year which includes:

  • Jewelry Design
  • Collection Design
  • Color Trends
  • Fashion/Jewelry Trends
  • Making your Jewelry Profitable

Along the way, I will share my affiliate links, where available and other useful resources for your convenience.

I invite you to join me on this new journey and take your design to the next level this year.

You can follow this series and all the other great content here, use the forms in the right sidebar to follow to my blog and subscribe to The Bead Mat Newsletter.

Throughout the series, I will be referencing what I have learned from my new book and from my research.
